Golden Chai Latte 

Chai- The spices in chai have been used for thousands of years to promote general health and wellness. The black tea in chai is rich in antioxidants.

Turmeric- Natural anti- inflammatory, powerful antioxidant, brain food and helps with skin conditions 

Cinnamon- Thought to increase circulation and open breathing, increase awareness and vitality, and reduce fatigue. 

Anise- Used frequently as a cough remedy and to freshen the breath.

Ingredients:

1inch Turmeric root or 2 tbsp of the powder

1 Can Coconut milk

1 tbsp Maple Syrup 

3 Pitted Dates 

Spices:

5 Cloves

1 Cinnamon sticks

1 Anise 

8 Cardamon 

1 tsp Black pepper

Formula

  1. In a blender bring together coconut milk, dates, turmeric, maple syrup, black pepper and blend for 2 min 
  2. In a saucepan bring together all spices and smash or crack them a little to bring out there flavors for when they are being cooked
  3. Add coco date mixture to the saucepan and  bring to a high heat continuously mixing for two min
  4. Optional- strain 
  5. Bring to a simmer for 20min

Add ons 

You may add vanilla 

Sugar is not necessary because it has dates. Maple Syrup is if you have a sweeter tooth

You may use any plant based milk

You may use Powdered spices. It might just come out a little on the powdery side. 

Enjoy!

Have with some delicious pancakes or Avocado toast
