5 Habits to a Great Morning Work Routine

The early risers, the 5 amers or ealier we wake up before dawn to make sure time does run away from us. Some say it’s purely in our blood others beg to differ. Maybe we were born with it. Whatever the case is it doesn’t matter because we are doing it. If it were in our blood then why is it hard some days? Can you become an early riser?

1. Motivation

We all have reasons for acting or behaving in a particular way. A desire or willingness that comes from within someone to do something….in this case a good desire. This is in other words Motivation. Sometimes we find it and other times it finds us. It can be the people you surround yourself with, the music you listen too. the podcasts you hear, and so on.

For me it’s, wanting to create a better version of myself without making excuses for reasons why I can’t get out of bed early. Are thoughts become our reality. You…are you closest friend.


Look for your "why"? Why do you do what you do? Will help you to reach your goals?

2. Music

Is there a right choice in music? Well, thats like saying is there only one way. Music can change your mood, your motivation, and can help you to get through some tough times.

Music can be used to influence the things we buy or what we’re attracted to. Even in television and movies, different music is played to give us “cues” as to how we’re supposed to feel and react.

Think about this way: It’s not just coincidence that we listen to certain types of music and even certain songs when we’re feeling a certain way. Music has a huge impact on how we feel and on our behaviors. When you listen to happier, more upbeat music, you’re more likely to participate in positive behaviors.

Next time you’re feeling unmotivated try choosing upbeat music!


3. Food

Did you know: When you were just an Embryo you were whole… your gut and your brain all intertwined… No wonder the foods you eat can even have an effect on you mentally, on your mood, and set the tone for the rest of the day.

I usually start of my day with a glass of water, then i’ll have some protein before the gym. After the gym i’ll make protein for the hubby and I.. I’ll add Mct oil, vegan Creatine for supplements. 

4. Morning Meditation

My mornings are sacred..isn’t that the truth for us all. Whether you sleep in or getting up at the break of dawn, it’s all very important for our body. Balance is everything, don’t you think.

When we wake up in the morning and make time for things that is not our phones, like emails and social media, then we allow our minds to recharge and gives the opportunity for a malleable brain.  

I like to make time to read for 20 min and study a little deeper on my own self improvement. Things that I am able to meditate on so I can evolve. By meditate I don’t mean yoga. Rather allowing information to simmer in my brain so Ican implement in my daily life.

5. Ambiance

Ambiance sets the mood, character, quality, tone and atmosphere. If your ambiance is clean and uncluttered then your less likely to spend time picking up and instead make time for making breakfast ( just an example). Bringing all the above list together sets the quality for the rest of the day.

The Conclusion

The mind is stronger than you believe it to be. Feed it well and it will make you stronger all around. Morning routines might be a trend.. but maybe it’s a trend to stay that can change your for the better.
